I thought that this assignment was interesting and fun. It was hard for me to find a topic, but when I found one it was easy because there was so much information. The presentation went well and it was really fun telling everyone about ancient Ghana, their history, culture, religion, daily life and jobs. Over all it was a great assignment.

What would you change to improve your project/presentation if you were to do the assignment again (think about the entire process from researching to presenting)?

If I had to change anything in my presentation it would be my different questions because when I looked at them I thought they were easy and when my classmates had to answer them, they had an answer in seconds. I would also have rehearsed my speech more because I get really nervous when I have to present something in front of people.

What did people do well (you may refer to your group and/or any group’s presentation)? Was it easier to understand or learn information because of how people presented?

In my group I thought all of them did a good job in their research and in their presentation. Li-Jin made his speech nice and sweet. Laura was a little nervous and she made it look like she was more nervous than she actually was, but over all she did a good job. Ampharin’s speech was really good and he did such a good job in his research, he was far behind from where we were because he was sick for two days and didn’t go to school so he was really fast.
Yes it was easier to learn with some groups because they made bullet points and others made paragraphs. It was hard to learn when they made paragraphs because it was hard to read so when they made bullet points I learned better.

What did you enjoy and/or find interesting about the other student’s presentations?

I liked how everyone did it different it made it more fun to listen to.
My favorite thing was the game and quiz. The games were some times hard because you had to remember a lot of stuff like what they traded, their history, their religion, their daily life, their kings, their food  and their culture. The quiz was easy when you listened, but when you didn’t didn’t it was monster hard I tell you so it was good I listened the whole time. Okay maybe not the whole time but most of the time.

What advice would you give to other groups to improve their project/presentation if they were to present again?

It would be a really good idea to rehearse your speech because if you don’t you will get really nervous and forget what you had to say. Make a hard quiz so you know if they listened and learned something. You can make a fun game and don’t make it too hard because otherwise it will be boring.

The trade affected the religion, culture and art because it made them wealthy. Swahili was really good at making art and they got all the materials that were needed to make art by trading . It affected the religion because they began to believe new things. Their culture also changed they started to dividing  themselfs in to rich and poor.

Zimbabwe was so great because of its structures, art and their trading. Trading made them rich and they didn’t only trade with Africa, but also India and China. Structures and art made them famous, they made many buildings and a beautiful tower that is still famous today. 

 I really enjoyed  how everyone were dressed and how  they all make it really interesting to listen to.

The presentations were good and funny.  I like how they made it like a story and about their life.

If i had to do a present a presentation again I would improve my speech and i would try not to be nervous

because i was really nervous, even though i practiced a lot just before it, i could also maybe make my speech a bit longer .

 I  learned a lot from my classmates’ presentation.I learned that not all gods are nice and helpful, that  almost

every gods were a son or daughter of Ra. That pharohs usually ruled from 9-75 years and cats were very

 important to the egyptians and their daily life.

    Long time ago (3500 years) I was a slave in ancient Egypt.

I remember one day when I was 8 my dad came home. He told me that I was soon big enough to start working (be a slave) and it was a good idea to start training because you had to be really strong when you were a slave. Fourteen weeks later, I started my job as a slave I had to wake up at 9.30 A.M and at 10.00 A.M, I had to be out on the field. It was so hard, but it was only the first level, I knew it was going to be much worse.

    When I was 15, I started my second level (there were 3) I had to wake up 7.30 and it was getting harder and harder. When you are at he second level you have to build houses for the king and queen. Sometimes I wished that I could go back to level one because it was so hard.

    One day, when my dad and me came home, dad said he didn’t feel so well, so mom took his temperature and it was 38.4. Dad went to sleep while his fever got higher and higher. The next morning my mom woke me up at 5.30A.M and said I had to go to the bedroom because dad wanted to talk to me. I went to the bedroom as fast as I could when I reached the room where my dad was, dad told me to sit down I sat down and my dad told me that his fever was 41.9 and he really felt tired I said good bye to him and kissed him goodbye. At 5.45 my dad died and I took that day off.

     I died a month later, I had the same as dad (I was ill) I remember my mom told me that it was okay and I had to say hi to dad my last day was really hard and painful (I started to feel how dad felt).

   That was my short life as a slave in the ancient Egypt.

December 27th 2007 Bhutto (from Pakistan) was killed (the first woman prime minister in the islamic state)  She was shot in the neck by a gunman where after he shot him self. After there was a lot of anger and sadness in the city. Cars, houses, shopping centers were burned down and people were killed. 

Who is affected?The people who are affected are:-the people that were killed. -Bhutto.-Bhutto’s family because one of their family members got killed.-Pakistan because people are getting killed every where.-The people who’s house was burned down because it was their home.-The poeple who’s family or friends were killed because it was one of their love ones.

What would I do if I was directly involved?If I was directly involved I would try to find the people who did it killed Bhutto and try to stop every one from burning houses, cars and shopping centers down. The reason I wanted to stop the burning is because 1. it kill people 2. it burns the houses down and people get homeless.
